The Basics of Jelqing

This is one stroke and you need to repeat this with the second hand while having a firm grip at the base of the member. Ideally you should allot 3 seconds per stroke. Repeat this entire exercise around 20 times and always remember to do a warm up before commencing the jelq.
Some important factors to take into account
You must not stress your member since initially it might be a little uncomfortable for you. Let your penis get accustomed to the exercise and gradually increase the time devoted to it. However, you must take special care for certain things. The erection level is extremely important. Ideally your penis should reach a 40-50 percent erection while doing this. Under such a circumstance you will be able to achieve both the girth and the length, otherwise you will have to be satisfied with either of the two.
Another important factor is the gripping. When you are forming the ‘OK’ symbol and applying pressure on the penis, the pressure should be equal along the penis every time you do it. You must also pay attention to retain the same grip throughout the exercise routine. Do not vary the grip during the exercise. Lastly, remember to support the base with your grip properly. Encircle the base to the lowest level to provide proper support. You can either grip the penis in a palm up form or a palm down form whichever suits best for you. Just see to it that you are putting the amount of pressure to regulate the blood circulation till the end.
Position and angle of holding the penis is equally important in achieving results. In case you are following the upward angle, majority of the pressure will be on the tunica. It will also be difficult to get a closer grip of the base in this angle. If you are holding the penis in a downward angle, then it will exert more pressure on the ligaments. It is also easier to get a good grip on over the base of the penis. This angle is more effective in producing results.
The speed of strokes is another significant issue. You must do it in a way to retain a speed of 3 seconds per stroke. Less than 3 seconds is not helpful and you need to concentrate entirely on the strokes while doing it.
Types of Jelq
Depending on your demand and your health condition, you can opt for either dry jelq, stretched jelq or uncircumcised jelq. Dry jelqing is done with the help of one hand by sliding the skin on the shaft. This method exerts more pressure on the shaft and hence is a little difficult.
Uncircumcised jelqing produces a turkey neck effect by exerting pressure on the skin near the penile base. The foreskin might be a little problem to tackle but you can allow it to withdraw under your grip.
Stretched jelqing uses both hands to do the movements. With the first hand you need to grip at the back of the glans and stretch it lightly, while the second hand will grip the base and slide the fingers upwards. While employing this technique you can also use the U grip.
